God created you to have fellowship with Him, and He wants to speak to you. He also wants you to hear His voice. God has sent the Holy Spirit here to talk with you and help you. The Holy Spirit is your counselor, guide, advocate, minister, teacher, and comforter. Do not ever doubt that God wants you to hear His voice. You can develop your spirit and increase your ability to hear God’s voice. In this earth realm, it is possible to hear many kinds of voices. You can hear voices from your body, from your soul and the spirit realm for good or evil. You must be aware that demonic activity can deceive you so you must be careful. You must always be reading the Word of God and meditating on it to strengthen your belief system and your spirit. You must also pray in the spirit, in tongues to build yourself up (see Jude 20). If you are not baptized in the Holy Spirit, you need to be instructed in this and yield to the Spirit of God. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:4). The bible clearly teaches that tongues are for today
