When you want to hear God’s voice, you must remember that God is a Spirit. God is going to speak with you in a spiritual sense. There are three parts of man; you have a spirit, a soul, and a body. “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth (John 4:24).” “Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2 Corinthians 3:17).” The Holy Spirit dwells inside of you, and when God speaks with you, it is Spirit-to-spirit. God brings you up into His realm. Once you understand these principles, you can discern God’s voice because it is often a still small voice that comes into your spirit.
