Here’s an example of kids learning at their own pace. One of my 4th graders is SUPER good at reading and storytelling — she’s even working on her own children’s book! Her handwriting, however, has stayed around a K5 level for years.
I don’t sweat it, nor do I care. We practice daily, but I never fuss or fret — I just keep encouraging her. Yesterday, something clicked. Suddenly, her handwriting was clear and legible, like a light switched on!
💡 My point is: Momma, don’t sweat it. Let them learn at their own pace. Celebrate their strengths and keep teaching the rest with patience and faith — it will click when it’s time.
